Memphis in May Triathlon

Me, my dad, my cousin Thomas, and my friend Niki did the Memphis in May Sprint Triathlon this weekend!
It was my first full triathlon in 3 1/2 years... since I did the Ironman in 2006. This race was a 400 meter swim, 12 mile bike, and 5k run.

I actually enjoyed the bike and felt that I really pushed myself.
I deleted all the pics of me in nothing but my swimsuit. Yick. Still have 9 pounds to go... and those pounds SHOW in a swimsuit.

Anyway, I had a blast! I love any race if my dad is there. I had a lot of fun with my cousin and Niki, too. I finished the race in 1 hour 24 minutes! Holla!

Family Photo Shoot 2010

This was sooo worth it. I had so much fun planning our outfits (momma Haines helped me!) and the day worked out perfectly. Abbie Rufener took these photos. To see more of her work, click here!

Mother's Day 2010

I had THE BEST Mother's Day this year! I got to spend it with my two babies, Blakey, my parents, and Blake's parents!

Anndi has truly been a little ray of sunshine in my life. I am so grateful for her and love her gorgeous little self.
Caleb is my little knight in shining armor. I love him sooo much. On Mother's day, I wore a new outfit that's a bright blue. He walked in and said, "Oh... You got blue? ... Cute!"
These two little awesome people are so fun to be with!
I was happy to be with my momma and my momma-in-law on this special day. I love you both.
This is Anndi taking a bath at the end of the day. She is such a good baby I can't even believe it.
What a happy time in life! I can't believe I have two kids!!!

The men really stepped up to the plate this Mother's Day and helped out a lot.
Blake and his dad doing dishes... me and Momma Haines kept crackin the whip!
Thank you Blakey for a great Mother's Day. He got me a gorgeous white rose, chocolates, and my favorite willow statue. It's called "Guardian" and it looks like me holding Anndi, or Caleb as a baby, with my forehead close to the baby's face.

What a perfect day!

Blake Has His MBA!

Yay! I am so proud of Blake. Through having 2 babies, 2 jobs at the same times, a high-maintenance wife, being Young Men's President, and doing things like biking, golfing, and boating, he successfully completed his MBA! Not only did he complete it, but he got good grades. Blake went to MTSU for his MBA, which is a 45 minute drive from home. He worked hard and did every bit of the homework himself. I am so proud of him I can barely stand it. I love you Blakey!
We had a little surprise dinner that night for Blakey. It was delicious and a great time for celebration.
