Turkey Day = Turkey Trot, Turkey Bowl, & Turkey Dinner

I love Thanksgiving traditions. We always like to have a "Turkey Trot" or a 5k run on Thanksgiving morning. This year, we made our own. It was just me, my dad, and Dunk. It was fun! After our run was the Turkey Bowl. Dozens of guys (and a couple of girls) get together and have flag football games. There were enough people there for 6 teams. They had fun! Caleb, Anndi, and I watched. Aunt Stacey took these adorable pictures of Caleb after the games were over.

I am so thankful for many things. I am especially thankful this year for my two little kids. They are such bright spots in my life. I am also thankful for Blake. He is such a good person and amazing at all things he does in his life. I am thankful for my parents. They have always been there for me through everything. And I am thankful for my brother, my in-laws, and all my friends. Love you all!

Precious Little Ones in Jammies

I got the kids matching jammies at Costco. They are so warm and fuzzy, I could not pass them up!

Caleb got a package from Grandma and there was a little fuzzy stuffed animal with large cute eyes. He ran to his room and he found the other one she sent him and was cuddling both of them. How cute and smart!

Big boy bed = some new troubles and some funny stories

Caleb was up for about 3 hours a few nights in a row in his room. One night we went in to tell him to go to sleep and he was sitting up, lining up his stuffed animals in his bed. Funny boy! He is sleeping better again now.

New Sewing Obsession

A wise person once told me, "You don't deserve to have a little girl unless you make cute things for her." Well, I wholeheartedly agree now! This is FUN!!!

I made this dress out of some old ribbon and one of Blake's old t-shirts. (I also have a matching hair clip with one of the green flowers on it!)

And I saw these ballerina shoes online and this was a MUST sewing project...

My favorite way to sew is without a pattern. I like to make my own patterns up and go with it. I have had a lot of fun with this so far! Yay sewing! Miss you Nath!

HALLOWEEN 2010

Halloween this year was incredible!!! I love having little kiddies who make everything in life much fuller and more memorable!

Went to Gentry's Farm which is a great pumpkin farm!
The weather was so warm in October this year!
Anndi and Ga-Ga!

MITT ROMNEY FOR PRESIDENT!

We trick-or-treated at the zoo this year! Making my kids' costumes was a treat because I got to see them hang around in them, they looked PRECIOUS! Thank you to Nath who helped me discover sewing!Anndi and Caleb this year were both chocolate mints. Caleb was a big HUGE box of Junior Mints, and Anndi was a large green-wrapped square of an "ANNDI'S Mint."
We had tons of things planned for Halloween, which helps wear out the holiday so that it's not too sad when it's over! We went to the trick-or-treating event at the zoo with my parents, Ga-Ga and Gi-Gi.
We got to see Caleb walk in his "Day School Parade." See Anndi peeking in the back!?
