The whole family. This will be worth it.

Baby Anndi has arrived!!!

This is Blake, sorry everyone that was hoping to hear from Danielle. Thank you for all your prayers, love and support. I am sure many of you are wondering what has happened. Well... Anndi has now enter the building. She is a beautiful 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20.5 inches long baby. She has brown hair and girly hands. Mommy is doing great. She will probably give more details of the delivery later. I just wanted to give you all a taste of Anndi. Here are some pictures from my phone and Tessa Farr's camera. More are to follow.

Beautiful December

The Holidays really lit up our life around here. Our Christmas tree and decorations, our blow up Frosty in the yard, twinkle lights everywhere, all made us in happy spirits all the time!

Caleb put on his build-a-bear's flip flops. They look like little Chinese shoes. And he put on his 12 month old baby Santa hat. So cute.
Our new rocking chair left us with ginormous boxes that make a great play house for the bear. Blake is so creative!

Here are the boys playing in the house.

The Holidays brought visitors too. My lil Nath...

And Caleb's best bud Colton.

Caleb and Santa

We stood in line for about an hour to meet Santa and take a picture with him. From a distance, I showed Caleb where Santa was and he lit up in his face and started waving at him. I thought, "Maybe this will go well!"... maybe I was wrong

Caleb hates Santa Clause. He is terrified of that old bearded man who daddy made him sit with. Absolutely hilarious. "Cary Santa! Cary Santa!" (Scary Santa)

Eventually, I had to sit next to Santa and hold Caleb for the picture. He refused to smile and gave an angry scowl to the camera with tears still in his eyes.

It was an awesome mommy experience for me. I laughed so hard and will laugh for the rest of my life about it. Caleb got some ice cream afterward to take his mind off of the "Cary Santa."

7 More Days

My doctor has scheduled my induction for 5:30 am on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. I have mixed feelings. She feels very good about this induction. It is 5 days before my actual due date. All I care about is that this little girl comes into the world healthy as can be! She strongly feels that this induction will allow that to happen.

I still feel not ready to have another baby. I am going to miss mommy-Caleb time all the time. I don't deal well with change!! However, not being pregnant is sounding pretty nice about now, as I look down at my sausage swollen fingers and feel the baby kick me in the pelvis as I have braxton hicks contractions!

Well... here we go!

My Pink Baby Shower

Melinda Dibb and Liz Rich threw this baby girl a baby shower. It was hosted by Liz at her lovely home, which was decked out in pink, as well as the beautiful Christmas decor!

They had pics of me from 6 weeks through 4th grade. Cute idea... not so cute pics... :)

It was a trifle party! OH MY GOSH yum!!!!!

Liz outdid herself on the pink decor. Love you Liz.

Scarlet pregnant with baby Grayson, and me with baby girl Andi. We wore blue and pink on accident! I love Scarlet!! She was the best pregnant buddy I could have asked for. (Was because Grayson was born this week - Congratulations!)

Soon...

I can't believe I'm going to have another one of these...
And these...

I have been grumpy on and off lately. 37 weeks pregnant, I think I have a good excuse. Plus, I have increasingly had to "put my feet up," or "stay off my feet." Not very fun or easy when your high energy nesting instincts kick in, and you have a toddler. I never could have done this a few months ago when Caleb was still a one-and-a-half-year-old. He has been so much easier to talk to and reason with as he has gotten older!

Our November

Our November was.... SHORT! It flew by! Partly because we had so many things to look forward to. First thing was "New Moon." My mom and I went to a party at Liz Rich's house, and that girl can THROW A PARTY. Walking up to her house, this is what you see...That's right, that is Jacob and Edward. She put cardboard cut outs of them on her balcony with a spotlight on them! The party was just as fun as walking up to the house, too!
Blake and his Young Men's group decided to try out "No Shave November." Blake lasted about a week and a half. Then, he went to Young Men's and discovered that NOBODY, except the boys who couldnt grow hair, was still participating! He came home that night and immediately shaved it off. Caleb ate some chocolate one day and looked like he had a beard too. Like father like son.
We also had our trip to Utah for Thanksgiving to look forward to. We had a BLAST with our family out there and miss them! Caleb still talks about his cousins, especially Connor, and his aunts and uncles and his Grandma and Grandpa. We even got to shop Black Friday sales! We saved at least 60% on all of our Christmas shopping! What a great time!

Caleb Does Look Like Me!

CALEB AND CALEB'S MOMMY
My dad discovered this picture of me (right) and covered up my hair and WOW I saw Caleb in my face! So cool. Now I have to stop calling him "so dang attractive."

New Moon

I won this shirt at Liz Rich's party in the Raffle Drawing! WOO! Blake hates it... I love it because it's a NEW MOON shirt and IT FITS RIGHT NOW! Hoorah!

7 Months Along - Keeping Myself Busy

I am getting sooo large and in charge. This point in pregnancy is so hard because, "Wow I'm already 7 months along... but wow... I'm only 7 months along..."

Made a couple of baby shower cakes this month. One for my dear friend Scarlet! For more, see my cake blog!

And another for sweet Lisa who is expecting early December. She does not know the baby's gender so I took a fun idea from Lindsey's blog and made her cake half pink and half blue! For a game, she had to cut into the cake to predict her baby's gender!

Baby boy was the prediction!
Boy did I stay busy this week! I also made yum cake pops with my friend Amanda. They were the baby shower party favors.

And I had a ball making the little watermelon baby carriage for another piece of decor at the party.

I feel so blessed to be able to have people in my home for fun parties and get-together's! It's so up our alley to have people over. We've had tons of young men's activities, including sleepovers, Relief Society group gatherings, showers, and fun times in this home!

Farewell October... I will miss you... Til we meet again...

Our group, The Haines, Scarlet & Chris Reece, Blythe Wright, Nicole & Mayci & Tim Drake. What a fun group to trick-or-treat with!!!! We lasted 2 hours with these two little one year olds... more candy than we... I... needed! But fun!

Caleb was Lance Armstrong/pro-cyclist for halloween. He has on a real biking jersey, altered by mommy to fit his little body, cycling pants, stitched with white lines just like Ga-Ga's cycling pants, real biking gloves with the tips of the fingers cut out, a real biking helmet (mommy's), and a race number!

I love October and always miss it when it's over... what a fun October we had this year!

GI-GI'S CAT! GI-GI'S CAT! PEESE? CAKE! CAKE! PEESE?

Caleb and I have been busy around here! I got my first real cake order. My good friend Stephanie told her sister about me and I got to make her little boy's 4th birthday cake! I had a blast and a nightmare of a time! Nightmare only because I am pregnant - high emotions and many dreams. I had a few nightmares about how the cake turned out.

Overall, I had a great time and hope that it's Carson's cake of his dreams. I even dyed the yum cream cheese frosting filling bright blue to match the cake. That should be fun to eat! The buildings are dark chocolate cupcakes, cut into building shapes. They were a beast to frost, but I took my time and Blake helped me by watching Caleb. Plus it helped that Caleb took a 3 hour nap today!

We had one little mishap with Caleb sticking his finger in the cake, which resulted in a pregnancy meltdown, but turned out alright in the end. He just couldn't stop saying, "Cake! Peese!?"
Another thing Caleb begs for is to see "Gi-gi's Cat!" It's the huge Halloween on her front porch that both scares and intrigues Caleb at the same time. It's head moves side to side. He thinks about it constantly and wants to go see it. Plus it's fun to play with Gi-gi.

I LOVE OCTOBER IN TN!!!!!

This is a video of Caleb, who is still only 1 1/2, catching and throwing a football. What a crack up!

Caleb just started eating cereal and milk. His favorite is Kix. So cute!

Caleb found this picture of me and Nathalie, brought it to Blake and said, "Mommy" then made this face. :) That's what face I'm making in the picture. So we did it together!

Caleb absolutely LOVES pumpkins!

Pumpkins with face stickers are fun too!
